The Day-To-Day:
As the Cedar Rapids location manager, you’ll work with our front desk associate on logistics and community management tasks, including:
Business Development (Sales)
Lead Management: Drive the growth of the Cedar Rapids location by managing and nurturing incoming leads. Engage with prospects, conduct tours, and convert leads into new coworking members.
Sales Process: Lead the sales process, from inquiry to closing the deal, and offer tailored membership agreements that meet prospects’ needs.
CRM & Lead Tracking: Use our CRM tools to track leads, maintain detailed records, and ensure timely follow-ups. Maintain a clear sales pipeline for prospects and manage communication effectively.
Member Onboarding
Seamless Onboarding: Ensure new members have a smooth transition from signing their membership agreement to settling into their coworking space. Handle logistics, including office setups, access management, and resource allocation.
Orientation & Integration: Ensure new members are introduced to the community, familiarized with available amenities, and feel welcome from day one.
Member Retention & Experience
Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with members, providing excellent service and fostering a sense of community. Respond promptly to inquiries and ensure members feel supported and engaged.
Community Engagement: Plan and execute community-building events to enhance networking and value for members. You’ll create memorable experiences that keep members satisfied and engaged.
Account Management: Take a lead roll in ensuring all member accounts are up to date, handle renewal processes, and ensure accurate and timely information is communicated to the billing team.
Operational Management
Space Maintenance: Oversee the daily operations of the coworking space, ensuring it’s clean, organized, and fully functional. You’ll ensure that meeting rooms are available, supplies are stocked, and the space remains welcoming.
Member Support: Act as the point of contact for operational concerns and member requests, addressing issues efficiently and ensuring the space continues to meet high standards.
Qualifications
Experience: Prior experience in similar roles, such as sales, hospitality, operations, office management, or coworking management is preferred but not necessary.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Sales-Motivated: Demonstrable commitment to convert leads into members and meet sales targets.
Customer-Focused: A passion for providing excellent customer service and fostering strong relationships with members.
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM software, Google Workspace software and similar web-based apps, Apple/Mac hardware, and other modern office management technologies.
The Details:
Annual salary compensation starting between $40,000-$48,000 depending on a variety of factors, including but not limited to work experience, job related knowledge, skills and professional qualifications.
Bonus structure available
10 days of PTO for vacation and sick time, annually
Paid holidays include New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Friday after Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day as well as associated days when Gravitate is closed, such as Christmas Eve, when it aligns with the calendar
Necessary technology needed to perform job duties provided by Gravitate.
This position is on-site at Gravitate’s Cedar Rapids location at 460 12th Avenue SE, Suite 100 in the NewBo neighborhood.
The schedule for this role is full-time, 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday-to-Friday
The Cedar Rapids location manager will often work physically independently with remote (Zoom, Slack, phone calls, etc.) support from and collaboration with our team members in other Gravitate locations.
